Kim Bueltmann

Deaconess Kim Bueltmann serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a missionary in Germany. She assists congregations in Leipzig and Chemnitz in providing outreach to refugees, who are primarily from Iran and Afghanistan. Kim is actively involved in worship planning and leading music for worship in the Farsi language, and she works closely with Persian musicians in these congregations to develop more hymns and liturgy in Farsi. In addition, she offers diaconal support and teaches the Bible and catechism to refugees and socioeconomically disadvantaged Germans. Pray for Kim as she serves.

In this role, Jonah works alongside the Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Synod’s partner church in Germany, to plant a church that serves locals, expats and members of the U.S. military living abroad. The Fedder Family

The Rev. Andrew and Megan Fedder serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod as career missionaries based in Brasov, Romania. As a pastor and theological educator, Andrew works with the Confessional Lutheran Church in Romania and with Lutheran congregations throughout the Balkan-Mediterranean subregion, including those in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Italy. In this capacity, he serves as a pastor to the Romanian, Bulgarian and Greek members of this Lutheran mission, especially in preaching and administering the Lord’s Supper until indigenous men are ordained into the preaching office. He also mentors and helps educate local candidates working toward ordination and provides continuing education and counsel to the men who have been newly ordained in the subregion. Benjamin and Rebecca Helge

Benjamin and Rebecca Helge serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in the Eurasia region, based in Ostrava, Czech Republic. As the shared ministries manager, Benjamin assists with programs, projects and services that extend across multiple countries or support many or all personnel in the region. Through this work, he seeks to effectively equip missionaries and the local church to share the Gospel, plant Lutheran churches and show mercy. Pray for the Helge family as they serve.

Chelsea Irwin

Chelsea Irwin serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in the Eurasia region as missionary coordinator for volunteer opportunities. Based out of Český Těšín, Czech Republic, she works with LCMS missionaries and local church partners to place and send volunteers to serve in Eurasia. These individuals or groups engage in projects such as English Bible Camps, theological education and mission education, to name a few. Chelsea seeks to challenge volunteers to live out the Great Commission by viewing each day as a mission trip. She encourages them to support and stay connected to the Eurasia region, as well as serving in their own churches and communities. Pray for Chelsea as she serves.

Rev. Nathaniel and Emma Jensen

The Rev. Nathaniel and Emma Jensen serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Nathaniel is pastor of Kaiserslautern Evangelical Lutheran Church, which serves U.S. military members stationed in the area as well as other English speakers. In addition, Nathaniel works with the Synod’s partner church in Germany to proclaim the Gospel to non-English speakers, and he serves as a mentor to seminary students throughout the region. Rev. Dale and Suzanne Kaster serve the Lord as missionaries through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Prague, Czech Republic. In this role, Dale trains men to be pastors of the Lutheran Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in the Czech Republic (ECAVvCR). He also serves as the pastor of an English-language Lutheran church in Prague, which serves many English-speaking expats living in Prague. In addition, Dale assists the regional chaplain with pastoral service to the LCMS missionaries serving in the Silesian region of the Czech Republic. Through the relationships formed, Dale and Suzanne seek to share the Gospel with the people of the Czech Republic. Pray for the Kasters as they serve.

Rachel Krause

Rachel Krause serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a missionary in Germany. In this role, she assists congregations in Leipzig and Chemnitz in bringing the Gospel of Jesus to refugees and immigrants, who are primarily from Iran and Afghanistan. This min­istry includes outreach activities that help build relationships with the refugees, including through Sunday school during the Farsi worship service and by offering activities for neighborhood children at the outreach center. Pray for Rachel as she serves.

Jesse Liebmann serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Brașov, Romania. As a vicar on the international mission field, Jesse assists in ongoing evangelism and outreach activities; helps provide pastoral care; and is active in many aspects of congregational life, such as visitation, catechesis, preaching, liturgy, music and the mentorship of lay leadership. Jesse also focuses on reaching out to the Ukrainian refugee community using his Russian language skills. Pray for Jesse as he serves.

The Rev. Tyler and Yanela McMiller serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church— Missouri Synod (LCMS) as missionaries in Eurasia, based in Italy. Tyler is the sole LCMS pastor in Italy, where he provides Word and Sacrament ministry, Bible study and catechism classes, all in Italian, to groups of Lutherans scattered throughout the Peninsula — in Naples, Rome, Florence, Piacenza and Padua. Tyler also mentors three men in Italy who are studying to become Lutheran pastors through an online Lutheran seminary based in Riga, Latvia. Through this work, Tyler’s goal is to help geographically iso­lated Lutherans across Italy establish house churches, just like in the times of the apostles. The Morizio Family

Michael and Nancy Jane Morizio serve the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Eurasia, based in Italy. Michael is the associate regional business manager for Eurasia. He works closely with the Eurasia regional business manager and the Eurasia regional director. He helps support the practical needs of all LCMS missionaries serving in this region and works with local church partners on short and long-term mission projects. Pray for Michael and Nancy Jane as they serve.

Melissa Pflug

Deaconess Melissa Pflug serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a missionary in the Eurasia region, based in Romania. As regional care coordinator, she works with the Eurasia regional leadership team to ensure that all the Synod’s missionaries and their family members are supported during their service. This care includes warmly welcoming new missionary families to the field; providing logistical support for families in finding housing, schools and trusted health care providers; and assisting them with the visa process. The goal of the regional team is to ensure the safety and well-being of all missionary families so that they may joyfully carry out their service. Pray for Melissa as she serves.
