Office of the President
Among many other duties and responsibilities, the LCMS president is the chief ecclesiastical and ecumenical officer of the Synod, supervising what is taught and practiced within the church and advising and maintaining relationships with our partner church bodies.

Board of Directors
The LCMS Board of Directors serves the church as the legal representative of the Synod and the custodian of the property of the Synod.
