
Concordia Deaconess Conference
Concordia Deaconess Conference (CDC) is a free association of consecrated deaconesses who hold membership in an LCMS congregation and subscribe to and live by the confessional position of the LCMS. Membership is contingent upon holding membership in no other deaconess conference or association. The CDC was founded in 1980, the year the first synodical deaconess program opened at Concordia University Chicago.

What are the objectives of the CDC?
- To give all glory to God.
- To extend the Kingdom of God.
- To aid the Synod, specifically in upholding and promoting the deaconess ministry within the Synod.
- To provide opportunity for spiritual, personal, and professional growth and fellowship for those who are deaconesses in the LCMS.
