Sharing Your Faith: Outreach and Evangelism
Partnering with the 35 LCMS districts throughout the United States, the LCMS Internatonal Center staff is poised to connect you with helpful outreach resources from entities across the Synod, as well as encourage you in personal and congregational outreach. We envision LCMS congregations as encouraging places for those who share the faith and welcoming places for those who hear it.
The 2004 Synod Convention of the LCMS voted to endorsed the vision of Ablaze!—a worldwide Lutheran mission movement to share the Good News with 100 million people by 2017, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. It also encouraged all LCMS congregations to become "mission outposts," where the unchurched are lovingly connected to Jesus. Click here to visit the Ablaze! web site for more information and read encouraging faith-sharing stories submitted by individuals, congregations and ministries. Also, watch the latest “Sharing the Faith” videos presented at the 2010 Synod Convention.
